Vintage conditions
Good winter and spring rain followed by La Niña weather patterns resulted in a mild and sometimes wet summer but mostly dry at harvest. Although quantity was reduced by the previous drought season, quality was excellent.
Grapes: Black Muscat – old vine, approx. 65yo.
Vineyard: Heslop Wines, altitude 480m
Harvest: hand picked
Fermentation: open vat
Production: 2952 bottles (246 dozen)
Description: Dessert wine, rose, Turkish delight and almond.
